“Parangal”  a tribute to Christ Our Savior. My way of giving thanks and honor to the Lord for all the blessings He has showered me throughout my life. In executing this collection I sought to portray the “Crucifixion of Christ” in a more personal and unique way. It is His triumph in what he set out to do that is the focus, and not the trials and the sufferings He had to endure to deliver us from our sins. His transcendence from the cross and His glorious return to heaven symbolizes the Joy in which I view our Christ. We live in a world were we are surrounded by pain, suffering and discouragement He leads the way and shows us that we too can transcend beyond this world. Living by his Word and example we can join Him in a victorious ascent to heaven.

He is Hope in our lives, The Tree of Eternal Life, A Living Spirit which guides our way.

In “Parangal” the elongated forms of Christ depict His transcendent spirituality; Jesus is beyond his body, beyond this world… a part of Heaven, His home, where He is eagerly awaiting to have us by His side.

And now I will no longer be in the world, but they are in the world, while I am coming to you.  Holy Father, keep them in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are (John 17:11)

Each sculpture is a one-of-kind piece. Painstakingly formed using a technique I personally developed in search of expressing myself in the medium of metal. Copper, brass and lead are combined using multiple metal working techniques in such a way that allows me to create details and forms totally unique and fresh in the genre.
