Silent Eloquence

by Daniel Delca Cruz

The most sincere revelations are ones that

come from silence, an awakening or a

 reawakening, from places unknown.

Just like a whisper, not heard and only felt.

Silence within allows us to touch

the innermost depths of our being, reaching

places inside us, overcoming the noise and

 distractions of our external worlds.

How magnificent, how blissful it is

to be protected from the din and the clamor

which deafens and blinds us from what is true.

 To find ourselves in quietude,

to hear God’s voice with our hearts,

to search our soul, and to express

who we are…in silent eloquence.
